Silver Star is one of the Okanagan’s outstanding mountain-biking destinations. Open for biking since 1991, the park has hosted world-class races for over 12 years. It offers superlative runs for riders of all abilities, from gnarly single-track hurtling thrill seekers straight down the mountain to easy, cross-country routes through scenic sub-alpine forest, ideal for families. Rock Star (Advanced) is pure adrenaline, taking full, gravity-defying advantage of the mountain’s 488 m (1,600 ft) of vertical, while super-smooth Super Star (Intermediate) is loaded with berms and rolls. It takes just under eight minutes to reach the park on the high-speed Comet Six Pack Express, Canada's largest mountain-bike lift. Silver Star offers freeride mountain-bike camps for advanced and expert riders. New trails have been added for all levels of riders for the 2006 season.. The Comet Six Pack Express takes bikers to 1,600 vertical feet of great riding terrain. The high speed detachable lift is fitted with roll-on bike carriers and has a ride time of under 8 minutes. Take the Comet Six Pack Express to the top of Silver Star mountain where you'll enjoy gorgeous views of the Monashee Mountain range and the Okanagen Valley. Bring a picnic lunch and lose yourself in the stunning surroundings. Look for various species of animals and flowers while you peacefully walk through the wilderness. Then treat yourself to a Nature Tour - but don't forget your camera!
